What I've learned in the first quarter of 2024

As we come to the end of March, I sit and reflect about what I've learned this year and how its shaped my plan moving forward. These first three months have been filled with taxes, lots of questions, illness, frustration, constant evaluation, planning, sleeping, and working my butt off.

Lesson number 1: I do not need to try to finish everything at once, and I'm doing myself and my clients a disservice trying to multitask instead of focusing. 

Lesson number 2: There is always something to learn. 

Lesson number 3: When people are frustrated, they will say and do anything to throw you off. As long as you have facts on your side, you can always push forward toward the truth.
